<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">MUMBAI: Australia will play Mumbai, not Board President''s XI, in the September 30-October 2 tour opener in Uppal.<br /><br />The Board of Control for Cricket in India had announced the Board President''s XI as Australia''s first opponents on the India tour. But BCCI joint secretary S K Nair told <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">ToI</span> from Thiruvanthapuram on Friday that Mumbai will face Ricky Ponting''s side in the three-day game.<br /><br />"We decided today that as Ranji champions Mumbai deserve to be playing the tour opener," Nair said.
